8th stop – the Piarist Monastery
Newly renovated spaces of the baroque monastery are attracting visitors with several possibilities: the beautiful refectory can be either visited or rented for the purpose of organizing a wedding ceremony or any other cultural or social event. Renovation works of this sight from 17th century lasted for almost 20 years. Town Příbor invites all visitors to see how the monastery looks like in its new, renovated condition.
Parts of the Piarist Monastery are: Primary Art School, town’s library and the museum of Novojičínsko with the Memorial Hall of a renowned psychoanalytic Sigmund Freud.
